Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Portland, OR. You will support patients in a skilled nursing facility recovering from injury or illness, implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assist with mobility, therapeutic exercises, transfers, and documentation to optimize patient function and safety. Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant or related accredited program.
  • Active OR PTA license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
  • Experience with therapeutic exercise programs, gait training, transfer training, and documentation in electronic medical records preferred.
  • Ability to work with medically complex adult and geriatric populations preferred.
