Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Minnesota PTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required by the client.
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
- Client prefers candidates with experience in geriatrics, transfers and gait training, and use of common assistive devices such as Hoyer lift, gait belt, and walkers.
- Ability to follow skilled treatment plans developed by a supervising Physical Therapist and document per facility policy.
