Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant. You will work with patients in a skilled nursing facility who are recovering from injuries or illness, helping them improve mobility, function, and activity under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Oklahoma PTA license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC is required prior to start.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with geriatric patients in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Familiarity with common skilled nursing therapies and documentation practices, including restorative nursing programs and Medicare/insurance documentation requirements preferred.
  • Ability to work with restorative equipment and assistive devices including walkers, canes, gait belts, and basic therapeutic modalities.
