Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - $1,166 to $1,366 per week in Independence, MO

Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness in a Skilled Nursing Facility, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Missouri PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility required.
• Demonstrated ability to implement restorative and maintenance programs, including transfers, gait training, and therapeutic exercises.
• Familiarity with documentation in skilled nursing electronic health record systems preferred.
• Ability to follow care plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
