Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Texas PTA license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.
  • Must not be a new graduate. Candidates with prior clinical experience as a PTA are required.
  • First-time travelers are acceptable.
  • Ability to meet productivity expectations: approximately 60 visits per week and 12–14 patients per day; experience with double-booking follow-up visits preferred.
  • Availability and willingness to adhere to clinic policies regarding overtime approval by director.


Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Outpatient clinic.
  • Shift: Days.
  • Primary rate type: 8-hour day schedule.
  • Guaranteed minimum hours: 36 hours per week with expectation to work up to 40 hours; overtime requires director approval.
  • Patient population: Standard outpatient orthopedic conditions.
