Key Responsibilities of the Travel Physical Therapist Assistant:
  • Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans to improve patient mobility and function
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modalities under PT supervision
  • Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Educate patients on exercises and proper techniques for recovery and injury prevention
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patient care

Requirements of the Travel Physical Therapist Assistant:
  • Active Connecticut Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
