Overview
Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant in Lake Wales, FL. You will work with patients recovering from injury or illness in an outpatient setting, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Impacting Patient Care
Provide outpatient therapeutic interventions as established by the Physical Therapist. Interventions include posture training, strengthening, endurance/cardiac training, balance and coordination exercises, joint mobility, pain relief, and community re-entry training. Train patients in the safe use of assistive devices and demonstrate proper guarding techniques. Monitor patient response, document progress, and participate in quality improvement and interdisciplinary communication. Follow safety and infection control procedures at all times.
