Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of licensed physical therapists.
- Treat patients using prescribed interventions including exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other modalities as directed.
- Record patient progress, document session outcomes, and communicate results to the supervising PT for ongoing plan adjustments.
- Monitor patient safety during therapy sessions and ensure proper use of therapeutic equipment.
- Maintain accurate and timely treatment notes and ensure adherence to facility policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the PT team to adjust plans of care based on patient response and progress.

Requirements
- Active Texas PTA license or Texas (or compact) PTA license, required.
- Minimum 2 years PTA experience.
- Ability to work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
- Experience providing interventions such as exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and related therapeutic activities.
- Willingness to work in a long-term care setting.
