Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | Full-Time | 40 hours per week | Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM; Tuesday, Thursday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Onsite | Minimum 12 weeks, starting July
Key Responsibilities- Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
- Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
- Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities
- Participate in student programs as assigned, providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
- Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory agency requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing
- Actively pursue professional development through continuing education, self-study, and involvement in professional activities and organizations
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapist licensure in good standing in the state of North Carolina
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
- Proficiency in outpatient physical therapy evaluation and treatment
- Ability to complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
- Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific professional code of conduct and ethical standards
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting
- Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality initiatives
- Experience supervising or mentoring Physical Therapy students
