Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Acute Rehabilitation Unit

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM), with every 4th weekend required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment services within an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU)
- Develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans in alignment with rehabilitation goals
- Document patient progress and clinical findings using facility EMR systems (Cerner, transitioning to Epic)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation team members to coordinate patient care
- Float to medical/surgical or acute care units as needed based on facility staffing requirements
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license valid in the state of Rhode Island
- Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience
- Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Cerner and/or Epic EMR platforms
- Ability to work every 4th weekend as part of the regular schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior inpatient experience in an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF), acute care, or skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
- Experience working in an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) environment
- Comfort floating to medical/surgical or acute care units
