Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: - Duration: Direct Hire Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday Experience: 0 - 6 months related experience License: Valid State of Oklahoma Licensure or Temporary Letter of Authorization to practice Physical Therapy Certifications: - Must-Have: Graduation from an accredited school of Physical Therapy Description: Provides clinical patient care by initiating and administering appropriate treatment. Progresses patient treatment as appropriate. Carries a patient load that reflects productivity standards. Evaluates patients accurately. Plans appropriate treatment. Sets and meets functional goals. Revises and progresses treatment program as goals are met. Provides instruction to patients and/or family members, as well as other healthcare providers. Maintains appropriate treatment records. Completes accurate daily patient charges. Completes patient records in a timely fashion. Accurately reflects in patient charges the time spent and procedures performed, as well as equipment used. Maintains technical expertise through attendance and participation in continuing education activities. Attends departmental in-services and keeps abreast of technical advances. Provides instruction to patients and family members, following care path guidelines for patient education. Follows set guidelines for daily operations and assists with daily responsibilities as appropriate. Schedules and prioritizes daily work assignments. Delegates patients to support personnel as appropriate. Assists with observers, volunteers, and students as requested. Assists with training of new employees in the field. Carries out non-routine procedures under constantly changing conditions. Coordinates activities of others but does not supervise. Works directly with patients and customers.
