Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: - Duration: Direct Hire Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm / Mon - Fri Experience: 0 - 6 months related experience License: Valid State of Oklahoma Licensure or Temporary Letter of Authorization to practice Physical Therapy Certifications: - Must-Have: Graduation from an accredited school of Physical Therapy Description: Provides clinical patient care by initiating and administering appropriate treatment. Progresses patient treatment as appropriate. Carries a patient load that reflects productivity standards. Evaluates patients accurately. Plans appropriate treatment. Sets and meets functional goals. Revises and progresses treatment programs as goals are met. Provides instruction (teaching) to patients and/or family members, as well as other healthcare providers. Maintains appropriate treatment records. Completes accurate daily patient charges. Completes patient records in a timely manner. Accurately reflects in patient charges the time spent, procedures performed, and equipment used. Maintains technical expertise through attendance and participation in continuing education activities. Attends and participates in departmental in-services. Keeps abreast of technical advances. Attends 90% of scheduled in-services and departmental meetings. Provides instruction (teaching) to patients and/or family members, as well as other healthcare providers. Follows care path guidelines for patient/family education and documentation of home programs. Follows set guidelines for daily operations and assists with daily responsibilities as appropriate. Schedules and prioritizes daily work assignments. Delegates patients to support personnel as appropriate. Assists with observers, volunteers, and students as requested. Assists with training of new employees. Carries out non-routine procedures under constantly changing conditions, in conformance with general instructions from a supervisor. Coordinates activities of others, leading others in the same work performed. Has input on performance evaluations but does not prepare or give them. Works directly with patients and/or customers. Engages with internal customers via telephone or face-to-face interaction. Collaborates with other healthcare professionals and staff.
