Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | Full-Time (40 hours/week) | Onsite | 13-Week Assignment | 1–2 evenings per week until 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities- Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
- Perform 60-minute evaluations and treatments with an orthopedic patient population in an outpatient setting
- Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
- Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities
- Supervise and mentor students as assigned, providing a positive learning environment, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
- Adhere to discipline-specific state practice acts and regulatory requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing and completing all state-mandated continuing education requirements
Required Qualifications- Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy
- Proficiency in clinical documentation, goal writing, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including 1–2 evenings per week until 7:00 PM
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students in a clinical setting
- Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality of care initiatives
- Active involvement in continuing education and professional development activities
