Key Responsibilities- Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
- Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities
- Complete comprehensive medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
- Ensure all care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals as required for patient care
- Participate in student programs as assigned, providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
- Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and regulatory requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing and fulfilling all continuing education requirements
Required Qualifications- Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Arizona
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy
- Ability to manage a mixed patient population with a geriatric focus
- Proficiency in clinical documentation, goal writing, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Commitment to patient and employee safety standards and protocols
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working with geriatric populations in an outpatient setting
- Experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students
- Demonstrated involvement in continuing education and professional development activities
