Key Responsibilities- Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
- Conduct 60-minute evaluations and treatments, ensuring functional treatment programs are designed to support effective return to community activities
- Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
- Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals
- Participate in student programs as assigned, providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
- Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and regulatory requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing and fulfilling all continuing education requirements
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapist licensure in good standing in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
- Experience in an outpatient therapy setting
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Commitment to patient and employee safety standards, including safe patient handling and infection control practices
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience supervising or mentoring Physical Therapy students
- Demonstrated involvement in continuing education, professional organizations, or self-directed professional development
- Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality improvement initiatives
