Physical Therapist (PT) – Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Monday through Friday with rotating one-day weekend coverage | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct physical therapy services to patients within an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) setting
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized patient treatment plans to support functional recovery and rehabilitation goals
- Document patient progress and clinical notes utilizing Cerner and NetHealth EMR systems
- Provide occasional coverage to Medical-Surgical unit as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Arizona
- Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience
- Proficiency or ability to quickly learn Cerner and NetHealth EMR platforms
- Ability to work a rotating weekend schedule (one day per weekend rotation)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) or inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Familiarity with Medical-Surgical patient populations
- Experience in a travel therapy assignment or adaptability to new clinical environments
