Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Onsite | Monday–Friday (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8AM–7PM; Tuesday: 8AM–12PM; Friday: 9AM–6PM)

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
  • Conduct 60-minute evaluations and treatments, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities
  • Complete accurate and timely medical record documentation including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
  • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals
  • Serve as an educator to patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs as assigned with appropriate supervision and evaluation
  • Adhere to the applicable State Practice Act and regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill all continuing education requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Active Physical Therapist licensure in good standing in the state of Florida
  • Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans
  • Proficiency in medical record documentation in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
  • Commitment to patient and employee safety standards and safe patient handling practices

Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience or clinical background in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy
  • Experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students
  • Demonstrated involvement in continuing education and professional development activities
