Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), Basic Life Support (BLS), Clinical Support, Cross-Functional, Electronic Medical Records, MEDITECH, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Patient Care, Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Nursing, Team Player, Treatment Evaluation
Contract (13 Weeks) | Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Minimum 2 weekends per 4-week period required
Key Responsibilities
Provide inpatient rehabilitation therapy services including evaluations and treatment sessions targeting approximately 5 to 6 hours of patient treatment per day
Perform ADL training and standard inpatient rehabilitation treatments
Utilize specialized rehabilitation equipment including H200/L300 and BURT systems
Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists, nurses, and rehabilitation aides
Float to other inpatient rehabilitation units within the health system as needed
Required Qualifications
Active Physical Therapist license (PT)
Minimum of 1 year of experience
Basic knowledge of inpatient rehabilitation settings and procedures
Current BLS certification
Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
Previous experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
Willingness and availability to work weekends as required
Outgoing, knowledgeable, and adaptable personality well-suited to a collaborative rehab environment
