Physical Therapist
Job Details:
• 36 hours guaranteed weekly in 13-week assignment • Work 10-hour shifts with start times between 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM • Two schedule options available: (1) Week one Sunday to Wednesday, week two Sunday to Tuesday or (2) Week one Wednesday to Friday, week two Wednesday to Saturday • Mid-shift schedule: 9:30 AM - 8:00 PM, late shift: 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM • Handle 9-14 patients assigned per day in acute care setting • Required to work rotating mid and late day ortho shifts • Must complete evaluations within 24 hours of being ordered • Required to check in with RN before and after every patient interaction • Perform neuro re-education, gait training, balance training, wheelchair training, cognitive re-education, vestibular training, energy conservation, ROM and strengthening exercises • Work with orthotic fitting, home safety assessments, and family training • May float to acute rehab unit to support OT team when needed • Must have acute care experience, ICU experience preferred • Required certifications: BLS, Utah PT license, MSPT or DPT degree from accredited program, NPTE completion • Dress code: Gray scrub top and black scrub pants with closed-toe shoes or gray business casual shirt with black pants • 30-minute lunch required for shifts over 6 hours • Badge must be worn when on the clock • Use EPIC documentation system • Work with Sara Stedys, mechanical Stryker chairs, powered bariatric chairs, ARJO and Liko lifts, mobility devices, walkers, canes, wheelchairs, and adaptive equipment

This 325-bed healthcare facility is a Level II Trauma Center and Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center offering comprehensive medical services. The facility features advanced rehabilitation services with a close-knit therapy team of 23 PT staff members working collaboratively across all disciplines. The hospital holds multiple certifications including Total Joint Certification, Commission on Cancer Accreditation, and recognition for spine surgery and vascular surgery excellence. The facility recently launched a Women's Health Program and maintains high standards for patient care with modern equipment and technology.
