Opportunity:

Physical Therapist

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday with rotating weekends, 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM
• Assigned to the Rehab Therapy unit in the main hospital building
• Unit operates with 44 beds and a 4:1 patient ratio
• Unit staffing includes 10 OT/PT teams, 3 speech therapists, and 1 tech
• Perform manual therapy for neuro re-education, therapeutic exercise, functional activity, neuromuscular re-education, self-care, and functional electrical stimulation
• Conduct stroke evaluation and treatment
• Utilize equipment including Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, Bioness, and Diego systems
• Document using Meditech Expanse electronic documentation system
• Apply AIDET communication standards and immediate service recovery techniques for patient experience
• May float to acute hospital setting if rehab census is low
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required
• Inpatient rehab experience preferred
• Dress code: Black scrub bottoms and royal blue top preferred
