TRAVEL - Physical Therapy (762) - MC Plano / 8A - 4:30P
Job Details:
• Day shift only, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM • Must work 2 weekend shifts per month on a rotating basis • No on-call requirement • No floating requirement • Provide one-on-one physical therapy treatments to patients • Work across all floors and buildings including Acute Care Hospital and Inpatient Rehabilitation (40 beds) • Acute Care Hospital includes Trauma Level 1, Neuroscience, ICUs, ECMO, Burn, Oncology, Ortho and Spine units • Use therapy equipment including walking equipment, bikes, bars, and treadmills • EMR system: Meditech • Must have at least 1 year of experience in acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation settings • Candidates with work history consisting solely of Skilled Nursing Facilities, outpatient settings, pediatrics, or school settings will not be considered

This facility is a large acute care hospital with 600 beds operating at Trauma Level 1 designation, offering specialized services across Neuroscience, ICUs, ECMO, Burn, Oncology, Ortho and Spine departments. The rehabilitation therapy services department includes Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy, supporting both the acute care hospital and a 40-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation unit. The therapy team is well-staffed with experienced full-time clinicians and fosters a culture of accountability, flexibility, and collaboration.
