Physical Therapist (PT) – Travel Contract
LocationOttumwa, Iowa
Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with rotating Saturday coverage
Key Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy services in an outpatient (OP) setting with cross-coverage to Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) and Medical/Surgical (MS) units as needed
- Evaluate and treat patients across assigned units, adapting to varying patient populations and care settings
- Participate in weekend rotation, including scheduled Saturday coverage
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using facility EMR systems (Meditech for IP/ARU; Net Health for OP)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Iowa or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical physical therapy experience
- Ability to float between outpatient, ARU, and medical/surgical settings as required
- Proficiency or ability to quickly learn Meditech and Net Health EMR platforms
- Compliance with facility dress code: scrubs (any color) or business casual attire with closed-toe shoes
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in an outpatient rehabilitation or acute rehabilitation setting
- Familiarity with Meditech and/or Net Health EMR systems
- Experience working in a multi-unit or float therapy role
