Key Responsibilities
  • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction
  • Conduct 60-minute evaluation and treatment sessions, designing functional treatment programs to support effective return to community activities
  • Complete accurate and timely medical record documentation including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
  • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals
  • Participate in student programs as assigned, providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
  • Adhere to the state Physical Therapy Practice Act and all applicable regulatory requirements, maintaining licensure in good standing and fulfilling continuing education obligations
Required Qualifications
  • Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Outpatient orthopedic experience required
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
  • Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans
  • Proficiency in clinical documentation in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience supervising or mentoring Physical Therapy students in a clinical setting
  • Demonstrated involvement in continuing education, professional organizations, or self-directed professional development
  • Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies in a clinical environment
