Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | Onsite

• Provide physical therapy services to a primarily geriatric patient population within an acute care, general medicine setting
• Manage high-acuity patients within a regional referral center environment
• Complete 4 weekend shifts per month as part of the standard schedule
• Float to other general medicine floors within the facility as needed
• Participate in emergency response protocols as directed by unit management in the event of an emergency event

• Active Louisiana State Physical Therapy License (compact or LA license required in hand at time of submittal)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in the specialty
• Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility address (as indicated on driver's license)
• No call-ins permitted; strong attendance and reliability required

• Prior experience working with geriatric populations in an acute care or general medicine environment
• Experience as a travel therapist is a plus, though first-time travelers will be considered

• Opportunity to work within a high-acuity regional referral center serving a complex and clinically diverse patient population
• Orientation is held five days a week with billable modules completed during orientation hours
