Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | Onsite

• Provide physical therapy services to a primarily geriatric patient population within an acute care, general medicine setting
• Manage high-acuity patients within a regional referral center environment
• Work 4 weekend shifts per month as part of the standard schedule
• Float to other general medicine floors within the hospital as needed
• Participate in emergency response team duties as directed by unit manager during emergency events

• Active Louisiana state Physical Therapy license (compact or LA license required in hand upon submittal)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — AHA certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in specialty
• Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (address on driver's license used for verification)
• Two manager or supervisor references required prior to start (charge RNs not acceptable; PDF format required)

• Prior travel therapy experience welcomed; first-time travelers will be considered
• Experience working with geriatric populations in an acute or general medicine environment

• Opportunity to work within a high-acuity regional referral center serving a diverse and complex patient population
• Orientation is held five days a week with billable modules completed during orientation hours
