Key Responsibilities
Assess clients' needs and develop individualized therapy plans; administer and perform therapeutic interventions accordingly
Document client observations, services provided, and changes in condition; notify physician of relevant changes and process orders
Provide direct consultation with physicians and interdisciplinary team members; share and receive pertinent clinical information
Deliver training on therapy programs, adaptive equipment, and other clinical interventions
Supervise therapy assistants in accordance with applicable Federal and State regulations and document appropriately in the clinical record
Maintain client self-esteem, privacy, and confidentiality while promoting independence and choice consistent with care plans
Required Qualifications
Completion of an accredited physical therapy program required
National registration and active state licensure for the state of practice required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Basic physical therapy skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks required by the role, including positioning, operating equipment, and moving in response to job tasks
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior work experience as a Physical Therapist in a clinical setting
Experience working in a home care environment
