Travel Physical Therapist

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Temp-to-Hire Possibility
Key Responsibilities- Gather pertinent patient data from charts and other caregivers; consult with physicians as necessary
- Independently assess all assigned patient types across outpatient settings including orthopedic, balance, deconditioning, and pain cases
- Recognize additional patient needs during evaluation and exercise sound clinical judgment when requesting, scheduling, or performing additional testing
- Interpret evaluation results and formulate relevant, measurable, realistic, and attainable therapy goals
- Reassess patient progress regularly in accordance with department and regulatory policy, or as clinical need arises
- Identify appropriate equipment and coordinate discussion with patients and families regarding recommendations
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required
- Active Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT) license in the state of Texas or a compact state license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required — American Heart Association (AHA) only
- Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience
- Outpatient clinical experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred
- Strong background in outpatient orthopedic, balance, or pain management settings preferred
