Physical Therapist (PT)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Gainesville, FL. This critical role involves working within an acute care facility to deliver exceptional patient care, improve mobility, and promote recovery. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing evidence-based therapy, enhancing patient outcomes, and collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals to support comprehensive rehabilitation services.
Required Skills
- Current and valid Florida PT license
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong assessment and treatment plan development skills
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with acute care or hospital-based therapy
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Additional certifications in specialized areas of physical therapy
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Prior experience in acute care or hospital environments
Other Requirements
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check as mandated by state law
- Willingness to work 8-10 hour shifts
