Outpatient Physical Therapist – Rehab (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job TypeContract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Full-Time | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities- Provide outpatient physical therapy services to a mixed patient population in a rehabilitation setting
- Conduct 60-minute initial evaluations, with complexity-weighted documentation and billing
- Deliver 40-minute follow-up treatment sessions with no double-booking or patient overlap
- Maintain a productivity goal of 70% (approximately 2.7 units per hour, with evaluations weighted by complexity)
- Document all patient care accurately using NetHealth/Redoc EMR
- Collaborate with an on-site manager and interdisciplinary team to support quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license valid in the state of North Carolina (or compact eligibility)
- Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience
- Experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience with NetHealth/Redoc EMR platform
- Experience working with a mixed outpatient patient population across varying diagnoses and complexity levels
- Familiarity with outpatient productivity standards and unit-based billing practices
