Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
  • Complete thorough and timely medical record documentation including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
  • Design functional treatment programs focused on progressing patients toward discharge and effective return to community activities
  • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients
  • Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
  • Adhere to state Practice Act requirements, organizational safety protocols, and professional codes of conduct; actively participate in performance improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
  • Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Colorado
  • Completion of all state-mandated continuing education requirements
  • Experience conducting 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-up sessions in an outpatient setting
  • Proficiency in clinical documentation, goal writing, and compliance with state and federal regulatory guidelines
  • Commitment to patient and employee safety standards and organizational compliance requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
  • Experience supervising or mentoring PT students in a clinical environment
  • Demonstrated involvement in professional development activities, continuing education, or professional organizations
