    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient needs, goals, and physician direction.
    • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical record documentation including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
    • Design functional treatment programs focused on progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay and facilitating effective return to community activities.
    • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals.
    • Participate in student programs as assigned, providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations.
    • Adhere to the applicable State Practice Act and all regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill continuing education requirements.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas.
    • Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
    • Proficiency in clinical documentation in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines.
    • Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
    • Commitment to patient and employee safety standards and safe patient handling practices.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students in a clinical setting.
    • Demonstrated involvement in professional development activities, continuing education, or professional organizations.
    • Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality of care initiatives.
