Key Responsibilities- Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction
- Perform 60-minute evaluations and treatments, designing functional programs to support effective return to community activities
- Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
- Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals
- Participate in student programs as assigned, providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
- Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and regulatory requirements while actively pursuing continuing education and professional development
Required Qualifications- Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Ohio
- Compliance with all state-mandated continuing education requirements
- Demonstrated clinical reasoning skills with ability to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals
- Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific professional code of conduct and ethical standards
- Commitment to patient and employee safety practices including safe patient handling and infection control protocols
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Experience with clinical student supervision and mentorship
- Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality initiatives
