Opportunity:

PT - Physical Therapist

Job Details:

• Work day shifts providing physical therapy services across the entire facility including an inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) and acute care hospital
• No night shift coverage required
• Schedule includes every other weekend and holidays in rotation
• Minimum 1 weekend shift per month required
• Patient ratios of 4 patients per day on IRF unit and 8-12 patients per day in acute care
• Perform evaluations, treatments, and discharge planning
• Conduct team conferences and family training sessions
• Utilize adaptive devices and equipment
• Work with therapy equipment including 2 therapy gyms, Vector system, LiteGait, and ADL Apartment
• Document using Meditech EMR system
• Willingness to work on IRF unit required
• Strong critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills required
• Hospital and IRF experience highly preferred
• Stroke and neurology experience preferred
• Active PT license and active BLS certification required
• Scrub color: Navy Blue

This Level II Trauma Center features a 28-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility and a 383-bed acute care hospital with an average daily census of 240 patients. The facility offers comprehensive therapy services with two therapy gyms and advanced rehabilitation equipment, supported by a team of 17 physical therapists. The organization provides a collaborative work environment with modern technology and equipment to support high-quality patient care across all units.
