Schedule / Job TypeContract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Days | Onsite | 40 Hours per Week | Start Time: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | One weekend per month required | Projected Start: June 22, 2026
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct inpatient physical therapy services to patients in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Evaluate and treat patients with diagnoses including stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological conditions, orthopedic injuries, amputations, and trauma
- Develop and implement individualized, intensive rehabilitation treatment plans tailored to each patient's recovery goals
- Utilize advanced rehabilitation equipment including Synaptic, TechnoBody, InMotion, Ekso Skeleton, and Real VR System
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to maximize patient health, function, and quality of life
- Monitor and document patient progress throughout their recovery journey in compliance with facility standards
Required Qualifications- Active Montana Physical Therapist licensure (required prior to start)
- Minimum of 1–2 years of physical therapy experience
- Experience treating patients ages 14 and older across neuro, orthopedic, spinal cord, and trauma populations
- Ability to manage a patient caseload ratio of approximately 6:1
- Team-oriented approach with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior inpatient rehabilitation (IRF) experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with common diagnoses such as stroke, hip/knee/ankle fractures, pelvic fractures, amputations, brain injury, and laminectomy
- Experience with advanced rehabilitation technology and equipment
