Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a float position in an acute care and inpatient rehab setting in Overland Park, KS.
The Physical Therapist will provide evaluations and treatments across multiple hospital units, supporting both acute care and rehabilitation patients. This role focuses on improving mobility, restoring function, and enhancing patient outcomes through individualized, evidence-based therapy interventions.
The therapist will work within a collaborative rehab team and contribute to patient care across diverse clinical settings.
Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital with Inpatient Rehab
Unit: Float Position (All Units Coverage)
Charting System: MEDITECH
Dress Code: Any color scrubs (professional appearance required)
Therapists will provide care for patients in:
Acute care units
Inpatient rehabilitation units
Mobility and functional recovery cases
Post-surgical and medically complex patients
Perform physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments
Develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation interventions
Treat approximately:
Active Kansas Physical Therapist License
BLS Certification
Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience
Strong clinical and documentation skills
Experience in inpatient rehabilitation settings
Experience in acute care hospital environments
Familiarity with mobility assistive equipment
40 hours guaranteed per week
Day Shift: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekend Requirement: Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday coverage
No on-call requirements
Float role covering multiple hospital units
High patient interaction with varied case complexity
