Join a hospital team in Tucson, AZ as a Physical Therapist. Provide comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team to support patient progress and discharge goals. Deliver patient, family, and student education. Maintain professional standards, documentation accuracy, and compliance with physician orders and regulatory requirements. Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Arizona state physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive evaluations, develop measurable goals, and implement discipline-specific treatment plans.
  • Clinical documentation experience, including daily notes, goal writing, discharge summaries, and charge entry in accordance with hospital and payer guidelines.
  • Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and coordinate equipment trials and discharge planning.
  • Willingness to participate in student supervision and professional development activities.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with safe patient handling techniques and materials handling protocols.
  • Experience participating in performance improvement initiatives and clinical outcome measurement.


Assignment Details

  • Shift: Part-time, 2x8.
  • Approximate hours: 8–24 hours per week.
  • May be required to provide coverage as needed and manage variable caseload demands.
