Job Overview
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) for a 14-week travel contract assignment in Fall River, Massachusetts. The PT will provide comprehensive rehabilitation services including evaluation, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility and functional independence.
This role requires strong clinical expertise, adaptability, and the ability to deliver high-quality therapy services across a full weekly schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, mobility, and function
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Perform gait training and functional mobility rehabilitation
Educate patients and families on therapy programs and recovery goals
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Ensure safe and effective use of rehabilitation equipment
Support patient recovery and independence outcomes
Requirements
Active Physical Therapist (PT) license required
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent required
Minimum 1 year of clinical PT experience preferred
Current BLS certification required
Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
Ability to work rotating weekly schedule
Must comply with facility health and safety requirements
Valid government-issued photo identification required
