Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join a rehabilitation team in a contract assignment setting. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and overall functional independence.
The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and assess patient physical therapy needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment interventions as needed
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and recovery plans
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Ensure compliance with facility policies and clinical standards
Promote patient safety and quality care outcomes
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Maryland
