Those who were licensed prior to 2016 are exempt from this requirement as grandfathered under prior IDFPR or MBPT requirement for licensure (which allowed bachelor s/master s degree; the normal industry requirement prior to 2016). Licensure/ Certification: IL PT License BLS (AHA) Setting: Inpatient Coverage areas: Would be covering throughout the hospital including ortho, neuro, trauma, post surgical. It could include the ICUs but if that is a barrier for candidates, we can also have the position managing the general floors only. Must have: At least 1 year experience as a PT in an acute setting Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. Other Skills/ Knowledge: Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the population served. Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills work well with others and to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging patient condition information. Analytical ability to evaluate patients' physical and functional status, establish therapy goals, formulate treatment plans consistent with goals, observe patients and document status, and assist techs and assistants in resolving problems. Excellent computer skills and the ability to process detailed information in an accurate manner.
