Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: Physical Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift with a weekend rotation every 3rd weekend Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Two years' Physical Therapy experience preferred License: Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice required Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Must-Have: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required if obtained license on or after January 2016 or foreign equivalent Description: Located amongst the oak trees, the facility has been serving the community since 1977. It comprises a 122-bed acute care facility providing exceptional care in various medical and surgical services. Locals enjoy weekly farmers markets and beautiful landscapes for outdoor activities. The job involves planning and conducting segments of treatment programs designed to restore and enhance physical, social, and mental functions. The role serves as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups. Responsibilities include completing evaluations to ensure quality standards are met. The clinician will use appropriate clinical techniques and tools to establish individualized treatment plans for patients. They will provide therapy interventions using established treatment protocols. Individualized care and discharge plans will be developed and communicated to the appropriate parties. Comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation must be completed within established deadlines.
