Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist - Travel
  • Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments based on physician orders
  • Complete comprehensive evaluations using appropriate tools and procedures
  • Review patient records for diagnosis, medical history, and precautions
  • Establish and develop measurable goals and treatment plans
  • Regularly reassess treatment effectiveness and progress towards goals
  • Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team and family members
  • Consult with medical providers about patient evaluation and discharge plans
  • Recommend and assist with acquiring adaptive equipment for patients
  • Maintain and submit required documentation for evaluations, treatments, and billing
  • Adhere to professional practice standards and regulatory compliance
  • Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides in patient care activities
  • Participate in and conduct staff development programs and meetings

Requirements of the Physical Therapist - Travel
  • Licensed NC PT or compact license
  • Home health experience
  • HCHB experience
  • OASIS experience
