Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: Inpatient Physical Therapy Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 0800 – 1630, Monday through Friday including weekends and holidays on a rotational basis Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Experience in adult ICU, acute neuro, level 1 and/or 2 trauma, ortho, and cardiac beneficial. Description: PT professionals are given privileges through the credentialing process. It is essential for onboarding to be completed on time. The entire process from submission to start can take up to 2 months or longer depending on candidate and onboarding items. The department treats approximately 120-150 patients per day. Each therapist performs about 9 evaluations and 16 treatments daily. Common diagnoses and types of patients include adult and pediatric ICUs, trauma, neuro, ortho, general medical surgical, oncology, and inpatient rehab programs. The setting involves acute inpatient, acute rehab, and skilled outpatient care. Mobility evaluation and documentation justifying the next level of care are required job duties. Strong verbal and written communication skills, flexibility, and strong teamwork skills are necessary. Day shifts are variable, and self-scheduling is not allowed. Weekend and holiday requirements exist and compensation days are scheduled accordingly. Professionals must wear solid color, clean, and professional attire. Department-specific orientation varies based on skills. All clinicians are required to clock in and out at the facility.
