Location: Napa Valley region, Northern California
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour (Monday–Saturday rotation, typically 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Fridays 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM). Treating 8–11 patients daily (typically 1–3 evaluations and follow-ups). Appointment durations of 30 and 45 minutes.
Highlights:- Outpatient orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric physical therapy in a general hospital setting
- Diverse caseload including post-operative orthopedic cases, spine surgeries, sports injuries, and neurological conditions
- Opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team with interpretation services and support staff
- Spanish-speaking skills preferred but not required
- May float to acute inpatient side or affiliate locations as needed to meet department needs
- 91-day assignment with 24 hours of orientation
Requirements:- Valid California Physical Therapist Assistant license in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a PTA
- BLS certification required
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Must comply with 50-mile local radius requirement
- Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
