Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: Home Health Duration: 26 Weeks Shift: 8A-5P Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred, home health experience is a plus. License: State license required Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: Bachelor’s degree or above in Physical Therapy, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance. Description: Immediate need for a Physical Therapist. This position offers 40 hours a week. Work schedule can be arranged as four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts. Weekend rotation is required, approximately one weekend every 4-6 weeks. Candidates will primarily work with adult patients but may occasionally see school-aged children. Common diagnoses include post-orthopedic surgeries, fall risks, deconditioning, and mobility issues. Experience with the mentioned patient types is required. You will manage a patient load of 20-25 patients per therapist. Support is available within the department, including access to a scheduler and leadership via phone. The therapist may cover a geographic area that requires travel, up to 100 miles per day. There are holiday expectations, and you will need to be available for six major holidays and some minor holidays. Time-off requests must go through management approval. Uniform requirements are business casual or solid-colored scrubs.
