Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: License as a Physical Therapist Certifications: Certification in Lymphedema Therapy from an accredited program or extensive experience treating lymphedema patients Must-Have: Strong knowledge of the lymphatic system and related conditions Ability to work compassionately with patients experiencing chronic conditions Description: Evaluate patients with lymphedema or related conditions. Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT), including: - Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) - Compression bandaging and garment fitting - Therapeutic exercises - Skin care education Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Educate patients and caregivers on home management and prevention. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
