Job Details:

• Travel- $53hr + $1414wk (Tax Free)

• Local- $53hr

• 40 hours a week

• Day Shift

• 8 Hour Shifts

• 13 week assignment

Description of job: A Physical Therapist at Upstate University Hospital evaluates, develops, and implements individualized treatment plans to improve patients' mobility, function, and quality of life. They provide therapeutic exercises, education, and interventions to restore physical health after injury, illness, or surgery. The role also involves collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

• B.S in Physical Therapy

• Licensed in New York

• 2 years of experience

• Must successfully pass pre-employment

Responsibilities:

Evaluate, plan, and implement treatment programs in accordance with established procedures, setting specific patient goals in collaboration with healthcare personnel and patients.

Prepare and maintain treatment notes and discharge records accurately and in a timely manner.

Attend clinics, rounds, and conferences to provide and exchange patient information.

Participate in educational programs for staff, students, volunteers, and other healthcare professionals, while training new staff members.

Serve as a clinical instructor for senior-level students and contribute to new program development.
