Location: Providence, RI

Pay: $2,599.20 per week

Shifts: 8 am to 5 pm, Mon-Fri, with 2 weekend days per month

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a Travel opportunity in Providence, RI. This role is essential in providing physical therapy evaluation and treatment for patients based on physician referrals. Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist
  • Perform physical therapy evaluation and treatment based on physician orders.
  • Complete comprehensive evaluations using appropriate tools and assessments.
  • Review patient records for diagnosis, history, precautions, and contraindications.
  • Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans for patient independence and function.
  • Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans and patient progress.
  • Communicate patient needs and progress with treatment teams, physicians, and families.
  • Consult with medical providers regarding evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge.
  • Recommend and assist in securing adaptive equipment to improve patient function.
  • Maintain and submit all required documentation in a timely manner.
  • Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Aides in accordance with state practice acts.

Requirements of the Physical Therapist
  • Compact license RI
  • Experience with Homecare, HCHB, and Home exercise planning
  • Oasis proficiency required
