This role involves working in a dynamic environment providing exceptional care in an acute care facility. Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist
  • Evaluate patients and establish care plans
  • Provide interventions and patient/family education
  • Document interventions and process billing appropriately
  • Support Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation
  • Participate in orientation of new staff members
  • Serve as a clinical instructor for students
  • Exercise independent judgment on moderately complex cases

Requirements of the Physical Therapist
  • Valid New Jersey License to practice Physical Therapy
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program
  • 0-4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist preferred
  • Experience in Acute Care in a large academic medical setting preferred
  • Epic system experience preferred
  • Board Certification as Specialist in an applicable area preferred
