Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: PT Specialty: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 08:00 - 17:00 Experience: 2 - 3 years License: NM PT Licensure Certifications: Required certifications as per state regulations Must-Have: - 2 - 3 years outpatient orthopedics experience - Ability to work independently with a variety of orthopedic patients and conditions Description: The role involves providing outpatient physical therapy services. You will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with a range of orthopedic conditions. Common diagnoses include lower back pain, total knee arthroplasty, neck pain, ankle sprains, carpal tunnel syndrome, total shoulder arthroplasty, rotator cuff repair. Sessions will typically consist of 1:1 direct therapy for 45 minutes per appointment. Required equipment includes therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound. Candidates must be able to manage a varied patient population, including adults and geriatrics, and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. A physical therapy degree (BS, MPT, DPT) is required for this role.
