Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Experience: 1+ years required License: PT degree, at least a bachelor's degree Certifications: Required certifications prior to start Must-Have: Preferred experience in orthopedics, neurology, general medical. CCU experience is a plus. Description: This position requires the therapist to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. One weekend day per month may be necessary, but a flex day will be provided during the week if a weekend day is worked. Orientation is conducted weekly on Mondays. The facility is located in an area known for quality, compassionate healthcare and has been serving the community since 1950. It provides a wide spectrum of care, including diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services. The work environment is supportive, with a highly experienced therapy staff. Therapists in this department typically have long tenures and a collaborative team atmosphere. Clinical staff on assignment must be fingerprinted before hire. Documentation is completed using a specific system in place. Caseloads for therapists are around 10-12 patients, and the average patient census is approximately 120. There is a focus on providing a quality patient experience. The productivity expectation is set at 50%, which is reasonable for an acute care setting. The location offers diverse outdoor recreational activities. The climate is characterized by year-round sunshine, featuring a dry heat with minimal humidity during summer months.
